Mane horsehair mecates are all made with a horsehair core except for the 4 strand mecates which don’t have a core. Different patterns, sizes and diameters are available.

This mecate is 22 feet, 3/8" diameter, 6 strands and color pattern is 1 strand of black, 2 brown, 1 black, 2 brown & white specks (flex/checks) - Pattern A-5

You can Buy now as pictured OR use the drop menu to select a different diameter.

Mecates are available 22 feet length and in 1/4”, 3/8”, ½” 5/8” and ¾” diameter.

If you are looking for a 24 or 26 feet long or 1" diameter mecate, give us a call to place a custom order. Turn around time for custom orders is 4-6 weeks. Let us know if you need it sooner.
