All mane horsehair mecates are made with a horsehair core.

Pictured here is a 22 feet long, 1/2" diameter mecate. The color pattern is L8-3 which is 3 strands of tan, 1 brown/white specks, 1 white, ends with 1 w/ Brown/White specks.
